WHEN

We buy clothing between the hours of 11 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday, and from noon to 4 pm on Saturday. Periodically, we may extend these hours depending on inventory demand. Check our twitter & facebook for updates.

WHAT

We don't buy in things that are an outdated style. In general, we are looking for lightly worn, stylish clothing or unique vintage pieces. Bring us items that you find value in, not items you would otherwise be donating to a thrift store.

All items must be freshly laundered and in good condition. Please check for stains, tears, pilling, missing buttons, etc. and do not bring items with defects. Please bring items neatly folded in a bag or box. We have a limit of 3 bags or boxes per customer, per visit, unless you call ahead.

We only buy season appropriate items. You will be wasting our time if you bring in bathing suits in December, or sweaters in June. If you feel your off season items are outstandingly amazing, call Rumors and ask we have time to look at your goods. and we’ll set us a time.

HOW

Rumors is not a consignment shop, so you do not wait for your items to sell before you get cash or store credit. We selectively buy, sell & trade clothing and accessories daily, with no appointment necessary. We have a constantly changing inventory, and new items for men and women arrive multiple times a day. We are selective in what we choose to purchase in order to maintain a stylish mix of clothing.

We offer your choice of 35% cash or 55% store credit of each item we accepts selling price. We compensate you for your items on the spot, so you will leave Rumors with your choice of cash, traded clothing, or a gift certificate that you can use anytime, on anything.

We will go through your items while you wait, or if we are busy you’re welcome to drop them off and come back within 24 hours. Clothing not picked up within 24 hours will be donated to a local thrift store, foster family, or shelter.

You are welcome to leave the items we don’t want with us to donate to charity if you’d rather not be bothered to take them back home with you.

We are constantly seeking new outlets to give the donated items we don't purchase, so if you work for a nonprofit or know of a family in need, please contact us at info@rumorsrva.com

Do you have a size chart?
We have a fit guide (put wherever it is located here) but if you have questions about the fit of a specific item and need additional details or measurements, please contact us at info@rumorsrva.com

What if the item I am interested in is sold out?
Nearly all of our pieces are a lucky, one of a kind find. Because we only have one of each item, we cannot restock specific pieces. We travel around the states in search of amazing pieces and are constantly stocking the store fabulous finds, so if you check back you'll be sure to find something you love.

When will my order be shipped?
Orders ship within 2 business days of purchase. Orders are not delivered on federal holidays.

How do I know the exchange rate for currency conversion?
